THOR: GODBOMB
rating: R (for blood and gore, sci-fi and fantasy violence)

This is not what I wanted. The universe is out of balance and dying. All about me I see the universe in its death throes, crying out for aid. A man after a weary days work closes his eyes but no rest does he gain, a puppy is born with the face of a child, it screams for an hour and dies, a holy woman dies but no reward is waiting for her. I have caused all this and much more, and only now do I see the truth, the universe needs its gods.

Gorr the god butcher

ACT 1

Thor walks through the halls of Valhalla, sadly looking at the greatness that once was the realm eternal. Thor is no longer a young god, he is old with white hair, a great beard and missing an eye and arm. Thor walks to the great crypt and down among the tombs until he stands in front of the burying places of Queen Sif, Visier Loki, and Thor's sons Modi and Magni. Thor sits down in front of the statues.
*FLASHBACK* When Thor was thrown into Valhalla by Zeus, Thor used his power to rescue several Asgardians including Sif and Loki. For 3,000 years the Asgardians lived and multiplied in Valhalla with Thor ruling as king and Sif as Queen. Thor and Sif had two children, Modi and Magni, who would grow up to be powerful gods and have children of their own. After 3,000 years Gorr broke through the dimensional barrier and entered Valhalla with an army of millions of black berserker constructs. Magni and Modi led the armies of Asgard into battle but were killed, the black berserkers then flooded the city of Valhalla, killing all in their path. Thor, Sif and Loki stood against the advancing hordes, but the sheer numbers were to great and Sif and Loki were slain. Thor woke up in a pool of blood with his arm cut off and one of his eyes missing.*
Thor is looking down at his prosthetic Destroyer arm when he is startled out of his trance. The black berserkers are coming again. Thor charges out, wildly smashing anything in his path. After a long battle in which Thor destroys thousands of constructs, the black berserkers overwhelm Thor and cut him open all over. The pain is beyond explanation as the black spikes pierce through him, he feels himself lifted up, but Thor does not worry or cry out, he is finally going to see his family. Thor wakes up on his throne, the berserkers have left him alive again. Thor cries an angry cry and slumps to the ground.

ACT 2

Thor sits contemplating what to do, wondering why Gorr has kept him alive so long. Thor had always thought it was simply to torture and humiliate him, but perhaps there was another reason, perhaps Gorr needed him. Thor walked over to the great Odinsword and picked it up. Thor stabbed himself with the blade, over and over, impaling himself. Thor falls, but just before he blacks out, he sees the black berserkers hurrying towards him. Thor awakes to find himself bound in chains, all around him are thousands of lesser gods, gods of flowers and poetry, gods of harvest and wine, all working as slaves to build their own death, the godbomb. Gorr floats down in front of Thor, mocking him for his futile effort to escape his fate, saying that he would be the last god of the universe. Thor asks why he should get this honour and Gorr tells Thor"You are the reason for this! * gesturing to the godbomb* When you battled me on earth I saw that man will do anything for his gods, no matter how cruel or evil they be. I have looked at the universe and what i have seen disgusts me. The universe cannot function without gods, everything is connected to them, a man cannot sleep if there is no god of dreams, life cannot form if there is no god to guide it, this must be changed. * looks at the colossal godbomb* Because of you Thor, i see now what i must do. I must make it so there was never a god!"
Gorr yells at a little god to make sure the bomb will work, then orders his berserkers to take Thor away, but Thor is not as weak as they thought. Breaking his bonds, Thor grabs the little god and flies swiftly to Valhalla. Thor and the little god flee through a hidden portal and hide in Hel, where the berserkers cannot find them because of the millions of dead gods there.
The little god says his name is Shadrak and that he is a god of bombs. Shadrach explains to Thor that the godbomb's purpose is to destroy every divinity that ever was, so that the universe will form without dependance on gods; the bomb will channel the power of All-black the necrosword (Gorr's weapon) throughout time and space, killing every god. Shadrach then says that even though this is Gorr's weapon of ultimate triumph, it is also his greatest weakness, for if someone was to absorb the power of the bomb and reverse it, it would wipe Gorr from existence and undo his evil deeds. Thor and Shadrak come up with a plan to defeat Gorr.  Gorr sends thousands of black berserkers to capture Thor and kill Shadrak, but Thor and Shadrak bust through their ranks and head for Gorr's planet.

ACT 3

Thor attacks Gorr viciously, smiting him repeatedly with thunder and lightning, whilst Shadrak dismantles the bomb. Thor and Shadrak are retreating when Gorr calls out to them. Gorr tells Thor he did not kill all the of Thor's family, he then holds up Thor's three grandaughters, who were but children when Gorr decimated Valhalla. Gorr says he will only spare their lives if Thor and Shadrak surrender,(for Gorr doesn't know that Shadrak is a god of bombs, and that they both know how his creation works), Thor and Shadrak agree, but after being captured Shadrak is beheaded. Gorr personally chains Thor to the godbomb, exalting over him. Gorr speaks of how his work shall end as it began, by chaining a god to one of his inventions. Gorr then kills Thor's grandaughters in front of Thor, then he starts up the bomb. All across the planet the black berserkers kill the slave gods, feeding Gorr their power, Gorr then channels his power into the bomb. Thor immediately feels the effect of the bomb, he sees gods dying across time and space, from Olympus to Nibiru, from Hades to Hel, every god in existence drops to the ground in a seizure. Thor reaches out his power, the Odin force, the Soul stone, he reaches it through time and space absorbing the life force of every god in existence into himself. Gorr looks up, expecting to see a world reborn, a universe without gods, but what he sees is the exact opposite. Thor stands before him, glowing with a brightness brighter than the sun, thor has absorbed the power of the godbomb into himself. Gorr cries out as Thor reverses the godbombs power, wiping Gorr and all his evil from existence. As Gorr fades away he smiles, finally free of the darkness, finally free to rest. Thor sees the universe changing, reality warping around him, he falls down spitting up blood and dies.

END CREDITS CUT SCENE

Thor opens his eyes and looks around. He is flying towards a planet and being followed by a group of Asgardians. Thor looks down at himself and sees he isn't old, he has no beard, and he still has his eye and arm. Thor stops and looks around him in confusion, the Asgardians ask him, whats wrong.
