During San Diego Comic Con Thor: Ragnarok's director Taika Waititi teased the threequal to have 100 minute runtime making it Marvel Studios' shortest movie up to date. Alot of concern grew among fans and while a shorter runtime does not mean a movie will be bad, we can stop worrying now as Fandango has revealed the movie will have a runtime of 2 hours and 10 minutes.

We can pretty much assume this is legit as it comes from Fandango. Will you be watching it on opening day?

**UPDATE**
This is what Taika Waititi had to say about the news

AMC Theaters have confirmed the movie will indeed be 2 hours and 10 minutes

Thor: Ragnarok opens up in theaters November 3rd, 2017

But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!”

HAHA!! Nice. i actually thought a shorter run time would force the movie a bit. Which could be good for Thor. but I like this also.

i think anybody equating "runtime = quality" should read this link and relax. The movie will be whatever it will be regardless of runtime:

sweet lord, the "Transformers" movies are always over 2 hours and are doo-doo

I had gotten used to 100 minutes but I much prefer this. Especially if it's as good as it looks.

Please let this be true 😮 100 min was a tad too short imo.

I'm in the boat for runtime does not equal quality. It depends on the story and what needs to be done with it.

That said, I'm happy Ragnarok will be a bit longer because I want to immerse myself in this world they have created as much as possible.

@PeterSparker - Nah that's his personality. I wouldn't want him to be anyone but himself.
