1. Hela Was The Rightful Heir To The Throne

Yes. Odin himself said during the First Act of the movie that Hela was his first-born child and therefore the rightful heir to the Throne of Asgard. More so than Thor or Loki (who was not even his biological son). Hela and Odin fought together and led the forces of Asgard to victories for a number of centuries. Odin for some random reason decided that he no longer wanted to win battles, so he banished Hela and her armies for etenity. Pretty lame if you ask me to be honest.

2. Hela Was a Great Ruler/Leader

Hela was a great leader and ruler indeed. Asgard prospered under her short rule, and she only killed those her betrayed Asgard. So most Asgardians would have been fine. A strong and ruthless leader is just what Asgard needed, espcially after Odin's weaak leadership and Loki's short and pretty useless time of rule as Fake Odin. Hela is just what the people of Asgard needed.

3. Hela Was Very Powerful

Hela was so powerful that not only did she destroy Thor's Hammer without even trying, but she was so powerful that not even Thor and his minions of Loki, Banner and Valkryie and the rock monster Korg (Revengers?) could defeat her to the tune of Led Zepplin. So they had to bring in big baddie Surter to defeat her since she was so goddamn powerful. She was so powerful that even Odin feared her and had to imprison her for a very long time since Odin was afraid old man. A strong and powerful leader is just what Asgard needed.

4. Thor and Loki Caused Ragnarok

Thor and Loki were threats to the Throne and soverignty of Asgard. Thor was a reckless representative of Asgard who caused damage everywhere he went, and he was far too worried about Infinity Stones, visions and protecting Earth to properly rule Asgard. Plus he like literally destroyed Asgard by calling Surter and causing Ragnarok. Loki was like literally an evil villain bad boy who caused mischief everywhere he went. He worked for Thanos and killed 80 people in 2 days on Earth. Probs more than that throughout the galaxy. Despite his devilishly good looks, Loki was a threat to Asgard too. He helped Thor destroy Asgard by callling Surter. Both Thor and Loki were threats to Asgard and led to its destruction. Plus as seen in Infinity War teaser, most of the Asgardians ended up dead like anyways. Way to go, Thor and Loki. Asgard had it good under Hela's rule!

That's pretty much it for this little editorial here. Hope every reader enjoyed my typed words and gifs. Just think about it. Hela was the true hero and both Thor and Loki were traitors for betraying Asgard and leading to its destruction. Just wish Hela could have had more screentime in the movie. Oh well. C'Est la Vie.

1. He locked her away because he became worried about how bloodthirsty and ruthless she was becoming. Not the kind of person you want ruling a kingdom.

2. To attest to the point about her being bloodthirsty, she slaughtered the entire Asgardian army and replaced it with an army of zombies and a demon wolf. People would rightfully be afraid of someone who could do all that, and it seemed like all the Asgardian citizens were afraid of her, so if Thor and Loki hadn't escaped from Sakaar, the movie probably would've ended with her killing everybody except for Skurge and her army. Plus, are you forgetting the scene where she was about to have Skurge execute some random Asgardian woman who didn't do shit?

3. Just because you're powerful doesn't mean you're fit to be in charge. Misuse that power and you could be a threat to a lot of people. And she was probably gonna bring Asgard into some kind of war even if Ragnarok never happened. Speaking of which...

4. One of the main points of the movie is Thor realizing that not only is Ragnarok the only way to stop Hela, but Asgard isn't just the city. It's the people, and as long as they live, Asgard lives as well. And the movie ends with all (or most) of the Asgardian people safe and headed for a new home on Earth.

@Ruthless -

Your comments have always been "women are better because A, B, X, Y bullshit", but this article is on a whole new level of arrogant and stupid. You need to reevaluate some things in your life.

Not for you. I really don't give a shit about you. But the fact that you are a woman makes a bunch of guys in here agree with whetever it is might be saying.

You are dangerous, and not in an enticing way.
