Marvel Studios Has Released The Full Screenplay For Taika Waititi's Hilarious THOR: RAGNAROK

Was alright, tonally inconsistent and left the movie without feeling emotionally connected to any of the story or the characters.

Some of the comedy worked, i'm still not the biggest fan of Korg but i felt that some of the more subtle aspects of comedy worked well when they weren't interrupting a serious scene (an aspect that happened way too often)

Could do with a cut of the movie where the humor is toned down and the Hela segments streamlined because she spent all the movie doing nothing until the final battle.

Granted it was only a day or two on Asgard after she arrived, but she spent most of that doing a monologue to Skurge who was clearly going to betray her the entire time.

For a movie where;
• Asgard is faced with destruction
• Thor and Loki discover they have a long lost sister
• Thor and Loki lose a father
• Bruce Banner faces the idea that he'll effectively lose his ability to turn back to Bruce if he turns into Hulk again
• Hela actually has a justifiable claim to the throne
• Thor loses some of his closest friends along with his eye
• Tessa Thompson's character must deal with being the last of her group having experienced severe emotional trauma and a sense of failure that drove her to alcoholism

None of it matters, none of it is taken remotely seriously, there is no sense of stakes or power levels and none of it seems to actually factor into future movies because SPOILERS Thanos seems to wipe out the Asgardians anyway, Bruce can seemingly turn back to normal and back to Hulk regardless of what was said, Valkyrie just appears to be killed off instantly along with Korg and other characters on the ship.

Great film. Really funny, i mean its really good, like great, fun, good, enjoyable, esquite, powerful, lovely, hilarious, sexy, uhhhh tasty, exquisite, lickable (but dont do that in theatre) fun, charming, comedic, at times just a little scary, but also a little cheezy. Truly great.

Hilarity was the problem. It wasn't meant to be a funny story, and making it so was disrespectful to longtime Thor fans. It should have been just Contest of Champions. They didn't have to butcher and waste Ragnarok.

Movie was garbage. Thank god I downloaded this instead of paying lol

1. This happened a month ago.

2. It's a transcript edit of the final shooting script, so it's not really the script. Still a pretty neat item to have, just wish it was the real script.
