Sounds Like Tom Hiddleston Will Be Playing 'LOKI' Beyond THOR: RAGNAROK After All... Maybe

It seems Tom Hiddleston is truly embodying the trickster aspect of his Marvel Cinematic Universe role as the actor is now backpedalling on what/when will be his last time playing Loki.

After Tom Hiddleston was quoted  last month saying that his upcoming fourth turn as the God of Mischief Loki in Thor: Ragnarok will be his “last time out of the gate,” the English actor has taken to multiple interviews to retract the comment and set the record straight.

“I don't know that I did say that [so] don't believe everything you read,” Hiddleston told Entertainment Tonight while attending the American Country Music Awards weeks ago. So, does that mean we will see more of the trickster, maybe in the Avengers: Infinity War films?

“Truthfully, I do actually know at the moment how many more times I’m going to play Loki, but I’m not going to tell you,” he later told the New York Daily News. Hiddleston then assured that, “It’s not personal, it’s just keeping it fresh for all paying customers to enjoy their films. And, also, I’m the god of mischief so it’s my predisposition to play games.”

Fair enough! In a another interview with Hypable, Tom Hiddleston had elaborated on why he no longer doesn’t want to reveal whether or not we will see Loki after the third Thor installment next year. “When it comes to my relationship with Marvel, whenever I have said something it usually becomes expanded and misshapen and it then has no bearing to what I originally said at all,” the actor explained. “I have a pretty good sense of what my future with Marvel is but I don’t think it’s worth telling anyone because it may change. They are very smart over there and like any creative process, they are free to change their minds. Throughout the Marvel universe Loki has changed from movie to movie. Sometimes he’s even changed in the middle of movies in ways you may not even know.”

Perhaps, Mr. Tom Hiddleston had unintentionally let Loki’s fate slip when he initially said that Thor: Ragnarok would be his last time. Only time will tell, but what do you think?

Directed by Taika Waititi from a screenplay written by Christopher Yost, Craig Kyle, and Stephany Folsom, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Jaimie Alexander, and Cate Blanchett, with others to be announced, and the movie will reportedly start principal photography in June with a release date on November 3, 2017.

@Earth2SpecialKa - Villains aren't a problem for DC.
And Loki couldn't save Thor 2.
