The Cast Of THOR: RAGNAROK Shows The Film’s Director No Respect In A Hilarious BTS Photo

We already know that Taika Waititi likes to create a friendly, productive atmosphere on his sets and it looks like the cast of Thor: Ragnarok totally embraced the mood in a new behind the scenes image...

Despite some controversial creative decisions, Thor: Ragnarok turned out to be a huge hit. The movie not only successfully managed to continue Taika Waititi’s wonderful streak of critically acclaimed movies, but also quite shockingly became the third highest-grossing superhero movie of the year, with a big chance at passing the $850 million mark worldwide.

But the movie would’ve been nothing without its talented (and naughty) cast and crew. Hemsworth's stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton has shared a new behind the scenes image of the cast and the movie's director. The photo assembles Hanton, Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Zoë Bell (Cate Blanchett’s stunt double) and poor director Taika Waititi, who clearly didn’t realize that he’s been surrounded by a bunch of poisonous snakes.

It looks like their relationship is quite intensive, as Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth gave him at least one “thank you” in the past. Does it mean that Taika’s co-workers secretly hate him? Well, that’s a bit of a stretch and it’s clear that the cast fell in love with the director & actor and would love to make together another chapter of Thor’s intergalactic journey in the future. Check it out:

They made Thor into a joke, the cgi was horrible, acting was subpar, etc .... This movie was huge let down.

He seems like he would be a pretty easy going director and fun to work with. Hope they bring him back for Thor 4 if we get one.

While I was wanting an epic fantasy Ragnarok, Taika did an awesome job with the movie. I hope he does return for a 4th Thor flick.

Did they turn Thor into a joke? Yes, he had a lot of one-liners, and banter. But I felt for Thor a lot more than in previous movies (although Thor 1 was good). I think some people get too riled up by the jokes to notice the subtle character moments - which Taika is known and is present in all his previous films. I didn't see it that much on my first viewing but on my second viewing, I noticed it and Thor really is a Taika film.

He had some great moments with admitting to Loki that he accepts his nature and that he knows Loki will never change from his scenes with Odin, to him truly becoming Asgard's king. I thought this movie did a lot to progress Thor's character and elevated him in my eyes like TWS did to Cap.
