Cameras officially began rolling on Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok today in Queensland, Australia. Marvel co-president Louis D’Esposito confirmed as much when he took to Twitter to offer congratulations to director Taika Waititi and his cast and crew, and after Ant-Man director Peyton Reed did likewise, Waititi responded with our first production still.
It's nothing to get too excited about (unless a bunch of chairs get you hyped), but we do also have a couple of pics courtesy of the Gold Coast Bulletin, which feature stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) out and about near the film's set.
Also starring Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Anthony Hopkins and Karl Urban, Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on 27 October, 2017.
