From start to finish you'll be glued to ther screen, the music before the action even starts is incredible, really makes you feel like you in the film. The original transform sound with a much more deadly twist, sets the mood of the fallen being in control.

Sideswipe, Arcee battle Sideways and Devastator right from the start, already you know you in a massive action film. I won't ruin too much about the action scene but you saw Optimus jump onto Demolishor in the trailer and the way he takes out the giant two wheeled monster just sums up prime and sets the movie up perfectly.

Mudflap and Skids, we all waited to see how funny they would be and they lived up to it--hilarious all the way through although they did become slightly annoying at some momments but they made the film what it was and showed huge bravery at the end.

A few people thought Devastator would cause a huge battle and indeed he does, but fighting is not his purpose all he's there to do is tear apart the pyramid of geza to uncover the sun harvester machine and find the matrix of primes. So although you won't see him destroy any Autobots, he does play a large role in developing the story.

Optimus kicks ass! We got a peek of the forest scene in the trailer, when he whips out his energon swords which he slices up Megatron, Starscream and Grindor who is an exact replica of Blackout. Optimus literaly tears his head apart by morphing his enrgon sword into hooks. 'I'LL TAKE ON ALL THREE OF YOU' that's what prime says. And boy does he! But as we were all guessing Optimus is killed by megatron.

Megatron is simply a minion in this film as he kisses The Fallen's butt. I don't want to reveal too much about The Fallen, but the final fight is short but pretty damn good.

Sam does all he can in this film and you could imagine him as Transformer with the courage of Bumblebee and the skill of Sideswipe but it is he who begins the revival with his discovery of the of the matrix after having the shard of the cube flash centruies old cybertronian symbols leading to it.

Jetfire's inclusion was pivotal to the destruction of the sun harvester and the regeneration of Optimus's smashed up body.

The ways to describe this film are:

The action is thrilling, some of the shots we see are stunning, like Optimus rolling out of a airplane as his truck transforming mid-air, then landing on a shanghai highway then transforming back into his truck and then again to his full ass kicking robotic form all in one shot.

The plot is excellent and any true Transformer fan would agree

Each character is developed and with simmons back on the scene you know its going to be funny, although seeing his ass as he wears an S7 thong is not the prettiest sight, we'd all rather see megan in that position.

At two and a half hours, you could say it lagged but there are some moments that feel like 5 mins that are actually 30.

The ending where the fallen is defeated could have been longer but if you want to get the full experience go to the imax. As Bay recently said the imax cut will be longer with more robots fighting, which will make the sadder scenes where optimus dies (and a certain human who I won't mention dies) seem shorter.

The film is immense, tops the first one and I'm seeing it on 3rd july at BFI imax in london so I'll post another review for you guys and let you know what's bigger and better.

Hope you liked my review article, peace.

So how does Sam die? Does the sight of Devastators testicles make him realize he's gay and he chokes trying to teabag him? That's what I've heard. Can anybody confirm this? :)

I think it's true the reviews for this one seem generally more positive than the last one. The scale and scope of the story seems bigger and more global. I guess Bay, Kurtzman and Orci learned from their mistakes this time around. That's great 'cause sequels tend to be worse than their predecessor for some reason. I don't know why everyone blames Michael Bay when a movie doesn't work, though. He isn't the writer. He's there to put the writers' words on screen and make sure the story looks and flows right. I can't wait to see this!

@ DJcheck...what's the big deal with posting early reviews?

It's your choice to read them or not...
