It's been announced that AMC will air a Preacher aftershow immediately following the pilot episode in the vein of The Talking Dead, which will also be hosted by Chris Hardwick. To coincide with this news, the presenter unveiled what could possibly be the final trailer for the show on his Instagram page.
The promo takes us around each of the principal characters, providing an idea of the nefarious deeds we can expect to see from them when the show airs on May 22. The shot of Cassidy using his flaming finger to light a cigarette is particularly awesome.
Based on the popular, cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
Preacher is set to premiere on May 22.
