Judging by the footage in the trailer below, it would appear as if The Walking Dead will be taking more than a few liberties with the source material during its third season. While it looks absolutely incredible, the fact that the AMC series is seemingly handling some aspects (such as the first meeting between Rick and The Governor or the latter's discovery of the prison) may upset longtime fans of Robert Kirkman's comic book series. However, with a show this good, does it really matter?! Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.
Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s The Walking Dead captures the ongoing human drama following a zombie apocalypse. The series follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, who are traveling in search of a safe and secure home. However, instead of the zombies, it is the living who remain that truly become the walking dead.
