At this point most fans will know who met their maker in last night's season 7 opener of The Walking Dead, but a number of alternate scenes were shot, and we have one of 'em right here. SPOILERS ahead...

Anyone who watched the devastating season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead last night will be well aware that it was Abraham and Glenn that suffered Negan's wrath, but back when the episode was being shot, several alternate scenes were filmed to throw people off the scent.

In the buildup to the premiere, rumors swirled that it was going to be Maggie (Lauren Cohan) that was murdered, and that might be because she's the one that gets "Lucille-d" in this leaked vid. Obviously this never actually happened on the show itself, but this is still a depiction of a pregnant woman getting her head bashed in at the end of the day, so y'know, proceed with caution.


The Walking Dead returns next Sunday night with an episode titled, "The Well."

Like, forget your complaints with the show and the fact that these are fictional characters....when you analyze last night's episode from a "what-if-this-happened" standpoint.....it was really, truly horrifying.

I just don't get it. To me, this show stopped being great a looong time ago. There's so much better tv out there yet this show gets the most views.

Been a fan since day one, and I admit the show falls off sometimes, but last night, that was one of the best episodes I have ever seen on any show!! Not only did it deliver after 6 months, but Glenn's death surprised me (after thinking he was safe). It was shot well, great acting, great dialogue, emotional, shocking, and was really about showing us who Neegan really is. In one hour every single character had their arc and story changed. Amazing stuff man

I really miss loving this show, but they really peaked with Bob. That was a hell of an arc and the kind of hopeful-in-the-face-of-grim-reality stuff that has been missing ever since he died.

Has anyone else noticed the 100% for Doctor Strange on Rotten Tomatoes after 18 reviews? I don't care about RT personally, but I know it's going to start some conversations/arguments.

Last nights ep was easily one of their best from the perspective of someone who read the comics and hoped the show, after veering off course, would pull into some sort of alignment. Violence aside, it was a psychological episode for sure. I wish they had followed thru with bringing Rick's situation up to speed rather than teasing though.

@scapegoatjones - I'm getting that people who've read the comics are digging it, but as someone who never has or intends to, I've noticed my least favorite parts of the show are the ones that are the most faithful (in particular the "panel reproduction" moments).

That's not to say the show should be for me as opposed to the fans of the books, but I just find it interesting... (And it's basically the opposite experience I'm having with Game of Thrones, where I've read the books and think the show is best when it generally stays within the source material.)
