This season man. Slowly dwindling down the toilet.

I really really want to like this new series. Jodie W's v likeable, and Bradley Walsh is... n't as annoying as I thought he'd be. In fact the supporting cast is ok. The FX are, well, BBC standard - good enough for a show on at 7 on a Sunday night with a young audience.

But the sci-fi is rubbish, the scripts are clunky as hell, and too many baffling character decisions so far. With the furore over casting a lady doctor I thought they'd make sure the writing and the series itself was rock solid, so's to avert idiots saying "See! Told you it'd be rubbish with a woman" etc etc.

Must do better!!

I've tried to give this season a chance but it's so boring! I was really hoping for some really good sci-fi stories after the Moffat era but so far Chibnall isn't delivering. I'm starting to think the Doctor should take a break until they can find a way to improve the stories and the pacing.
