It's been a while since Whovians have had their Doctor Who fix, but that all changes this Christmas when Peter Capaldi returns as the eponymous Time Lord in an episode titled, "The Return of Doctor Mysterio."
The BBC has now released a full trailer, which features our first look at Justin Chatwin as the myserious super-powered vigilante known as The Ghost. You'll also find the previous teaser below, which introduces Pearl Mackie as the new companion.
The Christmas sees The Doctor join forces with a masked Superhero for an epic New York adventure. With brain-swapping aliens poised to attack, the Doctor and Nardole link up with an investigative reporter and a mysterious figure known only as The Ghost. Can the Doctor save Manhattan? And what will be revealed when we see behind the mask?
The Doctor Who Christmas episode will air on BBC One on Christmas Day at 5.45pm.
