We recently found out that The CW's Black Lightning had cast Grammy Award-winner Jill Scott as the villainous Lady Eve, and now Variety reports that the show has balanced things out with another heroic character.
Chantal Thuy (Pretty Little Liars, Matador) will play an incarnation of Grace Choi, who is the daughter of a Bana Amazon and a member of The Outsiders in the comics. Here, she'll be introduced as a bartender who becomes the love interest of Nafessa Williams' Anissa Pierce, but it's not clear whether she'll retain her abilities or not.
Black Lightning will premiere next year on The CW.
