BLACK LIGHTNING Gets An Awesome New Logo In This Latest Promo For The CW Series
The CW has released a brief new promo for Black Lightning which reveals an updated logo for The CW series along with some intriguing footage of Jefferson Pierce in action. Hit the jump to check it out!
During the first two parts of "Crisis on Earth-X" last night, The CW debuted a new promo for Black Lightning. While it's light on footage, we do get to see a brand new title treatment which is significantly different to the previous version of the logo. We'll probably get another full-length trailer sooner rather than later, though, as the show is currently set to premiere on The CW on Tuesday, January 16th.
"Jefferson Pierce made his choice," reads the synopsis. "He hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with one daughter hell-bent on justice and the other a star student being recruited by a local gang, he’ll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend Black Lightning." It's an unusual choice of character but the signs are pointing to the series being good.
