DOOM PATROL: New Promo For Season 1, Episode 4: "Cult Patrol" - SUPERNATURAL's Mark Sheppard Set To Guest Star

I felt the opposite. It was a very revealing episode. I think a lot was going on in the episode and the dialogue was essential to fleshing out the characters further.

1. We learned Niles shot the Nazi and possibly interrupted the procedure Mordern was undergoing thus creating an unfinished Mister Nobody (also he took something of value).

2. We learned that "Jane" may not be the dominant personality for Crazy Jame but rather another one of the persona meaning we may have never met the actual true "Jane"!! 🤯

3. Negative Man's backstory was further detailed, we learned of his highly dangerous radioactive state after the crash and how the bonding between him and the Negative being destroyed his already fragile life.

4. We got to see a confrontation between Larry and the Negative being.

5. We saw how Cyborg's encounter with Nobody has left him doubtful of the origin story his father told him.

6. Robotman found a file on his daughter AND her number which Niles already had! 😳

7. Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man!

8. We also were introduced to other personalities like the teleporting Flit.

9. Doom Patrol's first BIG fight scene and it was awesome.

10. Did I mention Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man?

It seems you're very interested in action, and that's fine, but every episode shouldn't be about punching things. That's actually going to devalue the show. They need to continue to flesh out and develop the characters as well as explore their backstories. We didn't need fighting from start to finish. This isn't going to be Daredevil or the Punisher.

Also I hope to god they don't overuse Mister Nobody. He's not someone we need to see every week or he could easily become stale.

I also REALLY loved that after destroying those Nazi's Robotman saw a side of himself he didn't expect and it scared him.

In the plane he held his daughters number in his hand...now covered in blood...and the silent realization that he may be too "monstrous" to even be around her and so he destroyed it.

That was touching and brilliantly handled.

@Humperdink - yup, that Robotman stuff was very good. He continues to be the highlight of the show.

@Krav - Not seen the show yet, but in the comics, Kipling was created because Vertigo wouldn't let them use Constantine.

@Doomsday8888 - its really good and crazy fun!
