Doom Patrol has found its Negative Man in Golden Globe-winner Matt Bomer. He joins in a series regular capacity, providing the voice for the character in the present-day timeline and also appearing as the superhero's alter ego Larry Trainor in flashbacks.
Matthew Zuk (Avengers: Infinity War) will provide Negative Man's physical appearance and is the actor that was seen earlier this year in set photos.
He's the latest to join an impressive ensemble that is headlined by Brendan Fraser (The Mummy) as Cliff Steele/Robotman and also features Timothy Dalton (License to Kill) as Niles Caulder/The Chief, Joivan Wade (The First Purge) as Victor Stone/Cyborg, April Bowlby (Two and a Half Men) as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black) as Crazy Jane, and Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) as Mr. Nobody.
Titans premieres on October 12 while Doom Patrol has been slated to premiere in 2019 with a 13-episode freshman run.
Bomer is best known for portraying the ever-elusive Neal Caffrey on the hit USA series White Collar. His past credits also include, but are not limited to, Tru Calling, Chuck, In Time, Magic Mike, Superman: Unbound, Winter's Tale, The Normal Heart, Magic Mike XXL, American Horror Story, The Nice Guys, The Magnificent Seven, and The Last Tycoon.
