GOTHAM Star David Mazouz Has A Crazy Idea For A Crossover With The CW's Arrowverse

While the chances of Gotham ever crossing over with the CW's "Arrowverse" are very slim, star David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne) thinks he has a good idea for how to make it happen. Read on for more.

With Arrow namedropping Gotham City/Bruce Wayne and Superman himself appearing on Supergirl, some fans have held out hope that Batman could possibly appear on one of the CW's superhero programs one day.

While the chances are slim, Gotham star David Mazouz seems to think it could happen, and even has his own ideas for how to orchestrate a crossover between his Batman prequel series and the "Arrowverse". Speaking to Comic Book, Mazouz proposed that the easiest way to have a crossover happen would be to involve Grant Gustin's Flash in a time-traveling scenario.

"The Flash kind of had their run-in with Flashpoint a couple of seasons ago. Maybe there could be another kind of Flashpoint where Flash runs back in time and goes to Gotham and maybe tries to stop Bruce Wayne's parents' murder from happening," Mazouz said. "Maybe not the traditional 'Bruce Wayne gets murdered instead and Thomas becomes Batman thing,' but something along those lines where the whole world gets whack and it's up to Flash to fix things in Gotham."

A crossover between the two shows is unlikely due to the shows airing on different networks, but not impossible; Supergirl and The Flash managed to cross over despite the former's first season airing on CBS. Would you like to see Gotham's cast mingle with the CW's heroes? Let us know in the comments!

I don't see that crossover happening. I'd rather see him meet a young Clark Kent. Bruce could have a car breakdown at the Kent farm or something.

@Nightwing1015 - Yeah I'd definitely like to see a young Clark Kent for a one episode story.

@KWilly - It would have been great for this to crossover with Smallville. It's a shame the shows were made in different decades.

So the EXACT same story as Flashpoint except Bruce's parents instead of Barry's.
Good one.

Yeah great idea, let’s just do what they planned to do in the movies, very original kid. This show should never cross paths with the Flash’s show.

Should stay separate. Very different in tone and in terms of comic book accuracy. CW verse is closer to a traditional adaptation, Gotham is more like Elseworlds
