The end of last night's episode dropped a pretty major twist as Liv (Rose McIver) discovered that a sick girl she was trying to turn into a zombie wasn't affected by her scratch, which means that there may actually be people that are immune to the zombie virus. This game-changing revelation will take us into next week's hour as Ravi (Rahul Kohli) works with Isobel (Isabela Vidovic) to find a way to synthesize her blood into a workable cure for everyone.

Next week's hour will also leave all of Team Z stranded in the morgue while a serial killer runs loose in New Seattle. Luckily, Major (Robert Buckley) is on the case.

Watch the new promo for episode nine, titled "Mac-Liv-Moore," below:

Will Seattle become the capital of the zombie homeland? In season three, Liv has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed, including a private military contractor employing a zombie army that is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major finds acceptance in this army, and Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings. This action-packed season will see Liv take on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and more.

iZombie features:
Rose McIver as Olivia "Liv" Moore
Malcolm Goodwin as Clive Babineaux
Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti
Robert Buckley as Major Lilywhite
David Anders as Blaine DeBeers
Aly Michalka as Peyton Charles

Rose McIver deserves much more recognition for her work on here. She's so damn good.

This cast, from top to bottom, is fantastic.

Considering Rose basically plays a different person on every episode, and does so very believably .. she should really garner much more attention, especially come awards season.

I hope they make a real push for her this year. She's been absolutely fantastic.

Every season of this show gets progressively better. I love it.

My only complaint is that we aren't seeing much of Liv in her natural state. The brains start to wear thin after a while.
