Johnathon Schaech Teases His 'Jonah Hex' Look For LEGENDS OF TOMORROW; Plus New Wanted Poster

His face is mostly obscured (of course), but former Ray Donovan actor Johnathon Schaech is certainly looking fit and able to bring his take on the Western anti-hero to the small screen...

As we know, Johnathon Schaech will debut as DC's scarred-up bounty hunter, Jonah Hex, in episode 11 of Legends of Tomorrow, and the actor has teased his preparation for the role on Instagram. He hides his facial prosthetics, but as you can see he's either got into incredible shape for the part, or he just lives in the gym in general. We also have a wanted-style teaser poster featuring a previously seen sketch of the character.

"A true legend of the Old West, a morally ambiguous gunslinger with a penchant for danger. Surprisingly, he knows a thing or two about time travel and the future, but is at home in the Wild West. He’s been battling outlaws and gangs for awhile now, and advises the team to be extra careful when they arrive in the small town of Salvation."

I like the shows idea of rotating the cast every season ala American Horror Story. Actually what all single character title CBTV shows should do is only run for 2 seasons. Fans are bored after that. Legends could be a catch all for characters in circulation after a 2 season run. Would you watch an entire season of Flash/Green Arrow, or Constantine and his crew with a few new characters tossed in?

You're god damn right you would.

I mean you have:

Green Arrow, Flash, Constantine, Firestorm, Hawk(people), Black Canary, Vibe, Diggle, Arsenal, Speedy, Jim Corrigan, Atom, Shado, Sin, Katana, Wildcat, Huntress, White Canary, Deathstroke, etc.

That dude's always been ripped like that. It's his thing. He was born to play a superhero. I didn't imagine him as Hex until this. He's a good dramatic actor. I think he's gonna crush it.

Such a shame they took such a great character with so much film potential and made one of the worst CBMs of all time. I was so excited with they announced that movie.

It's been a fun show. I know they are doing 8 eps and I'm comfortable with that. I don't know if they can do much of a show beyond that. Would love to see a Titans show though.

I know someone who spells his name Johnathon (his parents did, anyway). I want to say JOHN-a-THON everytime I read it.

The acting in this series has been damn cringy and awfull. Thought fight scenes were great and actually managed to have some hilarious scenes that wasn't forced. The most comic-bookiest of them. Still that doesn't makes this series one top CBTV. But has been something refreshing, something Flash lost.

He was supposed to be a big star after "That Thing you Do" but never really caught on. No one from that movie really did.
