Powerless has changed a lot since that first trailer leaked online early last year, with the action moving from an insurance firm to a wacky workplace where the employees create new gadgets to protect members of the public from superpowered threats. With Alan Tudyk now Bruce Wayne's cousin rather than a Lex Luthor fan, the Caped Crusader's real name gets dropped a lot throughout this trailer.

However, we also catch a glimpse of a battle between Green Lantern and Starro, not to mention a look at some Wonder Woman related merchandise. It's clear that Powerless is going to be heavy on references to the wider DC Universe, but whether or not that will be enough to get fans to tune in is hard to say. This is supposed to be a comedy too remember, and well, it doesn't look all that funny...

In a world where humanity must cope with the collateral damage of Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) begins her first day as Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her expectations far exceed those of her new boss (Alan Tudyk) and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.

@ArkhamClown - Kinda reminds me of Community...not just because of a certain cast member.
