Vanessa Hudgens' Emily Locke Features In A New Image from NBC's POWERLESS
With NBC's DC TV comedy series Powerless finally set to premiere this February, a brand new official still of the show's main protagonist, Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens), has been released. Check it out.
As part of their 2017 TV preview, The Wrap has debuted a new image from NBC's DC Comics-based workplace comedy series, Powerless. The still gives us another look at Vanessa Hudgens as Emily Locke, an insurance adjuster who specializes in helping those affected by the damage caused by superheroes. The series will also feature Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Christina Kirk, and Ron Funches in series regular roles.
An updated synopsis for Powerless was recently released, which ties the plot to Batman in a very interesting way. You can check that out along with the pic below.
In a world where humanity must cope with the collateral damage of Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) begins her first day as Director of Research & Development for Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her expectations far exceed those of her new boss (Alan Tudyk) and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.
Powerless will premiere February 2nd on NBC.
