Following her battle with Icicle (Neil Jackson) and the shocking loss of one of her classmates, next week's episode of Stargirl will see Courtney (Brec Bassinger) begin recruiting new members for the Justice Society of America, and it looks like she'll find her first new teammate in Yolanda (Yvette Monreal), who will be suiting up in costume as Wildcat before the end of the next hour.

New episodes of Stargirl stream on the DC Universe on Mondays while a slightly shortened cut of the latest episodes air on The CW on Tuesday nights at 8:00 pm EST.

I don't understand. It's not like these costumes should have superpowers built-in. Except for Dr Fate's helmet, which funnily enough, was the one thing she didn't take.

@KWilly - well wildcat doesnt have powers he is just tough. Pretty sure hour man takes a pill or something that gives him powers for
An hour. Dont know about the rest of the characters that we know are in this season, not confirmed but the green lantern power comes from the ring

@dracula - Wildcat technically does have one power. He has 9 lives. And the ring chooses you, so it'd be pretty weird for just a random character to use the ring just cuz Stargirl gave it to them.

@KWilly - serious about wildcat? Huh thats something i dont think theyve mentioned in any adaption of him. On GL, does his ring even work like that. He is not a member of the green lantern corp and his ring does not work on will power

@dracula - Oh right, that's Alan Scott. So yeah, different ring setup. And yeah, look on Wildcat's wiki page.

@KWilly - Ill be surprised if they bring up the 9 lives thing, like i said, no adaption(mostly animated) of him has done it before.

Gave it a try last night... had to adjust to the vibe, the small town superheroics, and the janky FX (that bus...). Not sure I did.

They really gotta shave that helmet down. Maybe make the suit a bit more snug too.

She'd pull it off.

Before anyone goes further, it’s a cowl, not a helmet.

I'm not really a fan of killing off the kid, because I was expecting him to end up siding with Stargirl and working to take down his dad, but I guess that wasn't to be.

So is the Injustice Society just going to kill themselves and make it easier for Stargirl? They're already down Brainwave, now Wizard is dead. And let's be real, Solomon Grundy is going to be the easiest one to take down, or should be anyway.
