Next week, Sportsmaster (Neil Hopkins) and Tigress (Joy Osmanski) find themselves out on bail and back in Blue Valley, which really throws the Dugan/Whitmore family into uncharted territory as they try to determine whether their former adversaries can be trusted or if they're plotting some sort of revenge.

Meanwhile, Pat (Luke Wilson) considers whether he should come clean to Courtney (Brec Bassinger) about Eclipso's (Nick Tarabay) past, but isn't certain whether she and the new JSA are ready to hear the truth. Plus, after their failure against The Shade (Jonathan Cake) tonight, Courtney will cross paths with him once again in the next episode, but will find herself leaving having gained some valuable intel.

This show definitely has a Disney Channel vibe, but I like it. It's better than the TeenNick vibe The Flash/Supergirl have.

@KWilly - Its mostly Beth, Courtney and Mike that feel like that. They feel like they belong on Disney Channel but somehow landed on The CW. I don't really mind it except for Beth I find her really annoying most of the time.

Was never expecting to see Johnny Thunder in live-action! Wondering how much of that HBO money they are getting Thunderbolt, Green Lantern and Eclipso must be expensive GCI wise. Although to be fair Thunderbolt and Green Lantern didn't look Amazing or anything but still good enough.

Episode felt pretty unbalanced trying to mix the zaniness of a Jim Gaffigan Monkey's Paw Genie with the dapper seriousness of Shade's subplot.

I'm glad they followed through with Jakeem becoming the new host to the Thunderbolt. I like Mike, but I was afraid they'd do a switcharoo and have him be it.

Nice episode, I like Thunderbolt and the comedy relief scenes in which they have to be extremely specific about what they want him to do.

Everything from the flashback at the start with Johnny Thunder to the theme of the episode was about how Mike was benched just like Thunderbolt's previous master was, relating all the way to how Pat felt back then.

Sad that Johnny never cameback for the eggnot Pat offered back then in 2010.

I am wary about those headaches Yolanda is having, immediately I thought about Brainwave but that couldn't be. Could they be planning to bring back Henry in some way just like the writers did it with Sylvester/Starman?

Also liked that she asked Mike how did he feel about "killing" Icicle when he ran over him in S1. She didn't get the answer she was looking for but if she keeps opening up about her trauma or PTSD with it she'll feel better.

I wonder if there is some kind of Chekov Gun trope going on with Courtney saying it is helpful to read things that could come handy later.

Isaac Bowin aka Fiddler Jr. is already evesdropping on them though.

Can't wait till the team finds out about Rick's "dog".

Seeing Courtney support with Mike also showed some of her maturity, realizing she was in his place last Season. She's still impulsive and a little cocky but that's a teenage hero for you.

The Shade means business if not even a genie like Thunderbolt can stop him at this point. I can see a relunctant team up with the JSA since he is kinda concerned about their safety knowing Eclipso's been unleashed. But it seemed the Black Diamon of his was not necessarily the reason why he arrived in Blue Valley, could be something else and now Eclipso's his first priority.

Jakeem Thunder is coming.

Wonder how the Chuck googles became operational again.

Can't wait for next week.
