Next Monday's episode of Supergirl is really going to put Kara & Lena's friendship to the test as the adopted Luthor spawn is accused of orchestrating her mother Lillian's escape from prison. While a good chunk of the next installment will see the Girl of Steel attempt to prove her friend's innocence, the episode will also feature flashbacks that are expected to provide answers regarding Lena's childhood and her history as a Luthor (could we see a young Lex?).

A new poster for "Luthors" has been released with Melissa Benoist's title character flying high over the planet Earth. Check it out below:

"Luthors" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

LENA IS ARRESTED - After Metallo (guest star Frederick Schmidt) breaks out of prison and frees Lillian Luthor (guest star Brenda Strong), the police blame Lena (guest star Katie McGrath) for his escape and arrest her. Despite overwhelming evidence, Kara (Melissa Benoist) refuses to believe her friend is guilty and fights to clear Lena's name. Flashbacks reveal how Lena came to be a Luthor. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) introduces Maggie (Floriana Lima) to the gang. Tawnia McKiernan directed the episode written by Robert Rovner and Cindy Lichtman. (#212). Original airdate 2/13/2017.

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

Nice poster. Same for the tagline.

I hope as well that they can get some inspiration from comic covers and come up with posters showing Kara using her powers maybe to lift a car or open some metal doors, etc.

"Luthors" might be one of the best episodes until the Mr. Mxyzptlk ones come.

Anyone else bothered by how her collarbones don't have the same amount of exposure? it's like the cape is riding up too much on her left side. Result is less left collarbone shown.
