Miss Martian Arrives On Earth In New SUPERGIRL Clip

Is David Harewood's J'onn J'onzz the only Martian living on Earth? It appears that's not the case as Sharon Leal's Miss Martian debuts on The CW's Supergirl in a new clip from Monday's episode.

Supergirl season 2, episode 3 - "Welcome to Earth" airs Monday, October 24 on The CW at 8/7c.

As evidenced in the clip below, it appears J'onn doesn't recognize his niece in her human guise.  Or is it possible that they don't actually know one another at all, at least not formally?  It seems M'gann M'orzz definitely knows who J'onn is which should serve as a big clue to knowledgeable comic book readers who know Miss Martian's true origin and actual relationship to the Last son of Mars.

In addition to Miss Martian's debut, Linda Carter also makes her first series appearance on Supergirl as President of the United States.  Check out an extended trailer for the forthcoming episode below.

“Welcome to Earth”— (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

LYNDA CARTER (“WONDER WOMAN”) LANDS IN NATIONAL CITY AS PRESIDENT OLIVIA MARSDIN — An attack is made on the President (guest star Lynda Carter) as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO are assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party. Alex (Chyler Leigh) teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the case while Kara searches for a recently escaped Mon-El (Chris Wood), who she fears may be the alien behind the assault. Rachel Talalay directed the episode written by Jessica Queller and Derek Simon (#203). Original airdate 10/24/2016.

I hope that eventually they will do a Martian Spin-Off without all the Supergirl's cheese.
