Kara’s Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a superhero. Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat and Supergirl, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Nov. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

I like how Live wire was portrayed on Superman Tas as the shock jock, Leslie Willis. Willis was a superman hater on the show which I loved.

I like it!

Of course, I would have prefered a more costume-y look for her outfit... maybe short hair that stands up, like in the books... or a slightly bluer color for her skin... But for a T.V. adaptation of such an extreme character, this is pretty damn awesome!

(Besides, I'm sure than when she's actually USING her powers-- and the special effects and everything are all there-- she'll look a lot more dynamic!)

--Uhmmmm, cuz they just broke out of an intergalactic prison? I don't think "cool costumes" are on their to-do list right now. Besides, the main villains are Kryptonians, so they are wearing their native garb.

And I am REALLY enjoying this show. Not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but I do really enjoy it.

@mizeatwizad52: We are only on episode #2 so far. It has some rough edges. It's gonna take this show a while to find its "sea legs", just like Agents of SHIELD did. But it's gonna happen. This show is going to get good.

Give it time.

@TonyTitan: Because they know the danger she just put herself in. That's why. The escaped convicts are VERY bad people who have every ability under the yellow sun available to HURT her.

And, they love her, and do not want her to get hurt.
