Only watched most of the pilot but that was enough. A kid's show, and I'm actually surprised adults get anything out of it. This episode is about her making time to babysit for [frick] sake.

It's really popular with women with more than 3 cats and male nurses.

I'll give it a few weeks then watch the first few episodes to judge it.

The thing I like most about this show, is that tonally it's a throwback. It's a bit of the Superman: The Movie era, a bit of the Supergirl movie, and a few bit's of the 90's Superboy series. As an adult, I think it's a sense of some sort of nostalgia that I enjoy.

Not really digging it. Watched the 2nd episode earlier tonight. Something is just off. It needs more of a Flash feel. I gave the first season of AOS a shot a couple years ago, so I'll give this one a few more episodes before i pass final judgement. Still bitter I gave AOS an entire season.

I'm loving this show, especially after the second episode.

It has a nostalgic Donner feel while tapping a bit of the MOS sensibilities, and I like the key difference that was stressed between Kal and Kara: he lost a planet, but she lost a home; he operates solo, she wants a team around her.

It also helps that the characters are engaging, particularly Kara, Cat, and Jimmy.
I'm eager to know what's up with Hank Henshaw (Martian Manhunter)and what's going on with Astra. I don't think she's the big danger Vartox warned about.

@Battabing I'm curious as to why you refer to Hank Henshaw as Martian Manhunter. In the comics Hank was the Cyborg Superman and I'm inclined to believe, especially after the red eye moment, that is the direction they are taking him in THIS series.
