SUPERGIRL Season 5, Episode 10 Stills For "The Bottle Episode" Tease CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Fallout

The CW has released stills from the first post-Crisis episode of Supergirl, as the Girl of Steel deals with the fallout from the epic crossover event that wraps up tonight on The CW. Check them out...

Tonight, the final two chapters of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover air on The CW, but it's back to business as usual next week. That starts with Supergirl, and an episode which is clearly going to deal with the fallout from that event while simultaneously setting the stage for the rest of season five.

Interestingly, Lex Luthor is pictured in the gallery below so he's clearly remaining in the land of the living after The Monitor brought him back from the dead. It also looks like Kara Danvers will return to her own Earth and not Earth-1 as some fans have been hoping (that would mean her world would finally be combined with the one inhabited by characters like the Flash and Batwoman).

Here's the synopsis for the episode which is titled "The Bottle Episode":

MEAGHAN RATH GUEST STARS — The subsequent complications from the Crisis leave Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to face a chaotic threat. Tawnia McKiernan directed the episode with story by Derek Simon and teleplay by Nicki Holcomb & Jen Troy (#510). Original airdate 1/19/2020.

Everything about these pics will make more sense after Crisis ends tonight.

I think Lex will have some plans in store for what to do with Leviathan.

Curious to see how Brainy's sister factors in all of this. Without saying that this is on the eve of Winn's return.

And Superman & Lois has been given a pilot order.

So part of the fallout from Crisis will be multiple Brainys (Emo, Ernest, and Brainiac-5). Hmmm.

@tugboy - multiple Brainys (Ernest)

I won't lie, I'd be interested in watching Ernest Goes to the 31st Century.

There's no reason to believe these images take place on Earth-38 instead of Earth-1. In the books, everyone merged into the single earth with no memory of the battle with Anti-Monitor (except for those who directly confronted him and survived), and some characters even given new memories and origins. So it's entirely possible that National City is now on Earth-1. I'd really be disappointed if they do an Endgame and have the whole thing basically be meaningless. So far, there's been even less casualties than the IW/Endgame event, as well!

Really excited for everything now Crisis is over. Superman show in particular has me psyched.

Supergirl has to really make some changes though, perticularly in its stagnant supporting cast- Alex, MMH and even Dreamer (who i am a big fan of) need a major upheaval or killing off....

.... as does the show's hair stylist: they are working with one of the best looking casts on tv and manage to make all of them look horrific lol.
