The CW has released episode descriptions for their DC TV episodes beginning the week of March 20th. Disappointingly, it sounds like Supergirl's musical crossover with The Flash won't kick off until the final few minutes of the Girl of Steel's episode, the same thing that happened during the "Invasion!" event last year. On the plus side, it still sounds like a really fun story featuring the two heroes!

It's arguably Legends of Tomorrow which has the most interesting description, however, as it drops some big hints about the return of Captain Cold. The villain being resurrected somehow has been hinted at a couple of times during season two now, but the Spear of Destiny could be what leads to that becoming a reality. We'll have to wait and see of course, but expect more to be revealed soon.

Supergirl - "Star-Crossed"

TERI HATCHER (“DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES,” “LOIS & CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN”) AND KEVIN SORBO (“HERCULES”) GUEST STAR; DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) MAKES HIS DEBUT AS THE MUSIC MEISTER – A new villain (guest star Teri Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) on high alert. Meanwhile, Winn’s (Jeremy Jordan) girlfriend, Lyra (guest star Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister (Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl. John Medlen directed the episode written by Katie Rose Rogers & Jess Kardos.

The Flash - "Duet"

DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) GUEST STARS AS THE MUSIC MEISTER IN THE FLASH AND SUPERGIRL MUSICAL CROSSOVER – Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

Legends of Tomorrow - "Fellowship of the Spear"

IT’S WAR — The Legends must devise a plan to retrieve the last remaining fragments of the Spear of Destiny from the Legion of Doom.  They find themselves in France at the height of World War I faced with the knowledge that they must destroy the mystical object.  They enlist the help of a soldier by the name of John Ronald Reuel Tolkin (guest star Jack Turner) and find that the Spear is leading them into the heart of the war.  Meanwhile, the team must all resist the temptation of the Spear, and the return of a former teammate. Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Matthew Maala.

@Jimdlux - ...since it doesn't feature NPH as the Music Meister. I totally agree!

@Jimdlux - it could be, or it could be great, look at the Buffy musical, its a great show from beginning to end, and the musical episode it considered one of its best

@dracula - The Buffy episode had magic involved. I thought for sure they were going to do this with Mister Mxyzptlk, but they got rid of him. to do this with a minor villain like, Music Meister makes for a silly premise...the whole thing is a dream sequence and Supergirl and Flash are powerless...sorry...I love Flash and Supergirl...but this seems too silly...

Logan was absolutely spectacular I mean my theatre cheered. The best way to send a character off. A+ across the board

@TheNewGuy123 -

Not the biggest fan of them using deleted scenes to promote the movie...

It's a bit misleading.

Admittedly though i felt the scene lingered too heavily on the same joke and i'm glad it's been cut. Strange that a deleted scene would be so finalised though... think they would have realised that it was not going to be used before they finalised all the tiny details of the CGI of Rocket and things.

The funny thing about these shows is that even thought they're DC Comics TV shows, the writers and artists of DC Comics have been instructed not to watch any of them.

Juan Ferreyra, the main artist for Green Arrow Rebirth (One of the best titles out) was asked if he watches Arrow. He said that they were instructed not to. Oh well lol

ok I have loved all the shows this season but what the hell, they said Captain Cold, Malcolm Merlyn and Laurel would be recurring on all the shows. Captain Cold has so far only done cameos, being in at most a minute of an episode and isn't coming back until the end of the season. Merlyn they did do what they said they would, he does have a good role in Legends. Laurel hasn't really done anything outside of the 100th episode of Arrow and the Black Siren episode

so the musical episode will be a two parter, but only the second part will be a crossover. Wonder how that will work on the DVD's this year. are they going to include Invasion on the Supergirl set, even though her episode isn't really apart of it, are they going to leave her episode out of the other sets. for the musical will both parts be on the flash set or just the flash episode and will the flash episode be on the supergirl set

So... thats the finale for LoT? Already? Damn it. I've actually been enjoying it this year, much more than Arrow one might add.

Enjoy Captain Cold, but he's been around for a while on the CW. Nothing new. However, the Supergirl/Flash musical episodes sound like a lot of fun and different.

You know if anything, the CW should cancel Flash, Supergirl & Arrow & bring back Glee!
