Thanks to a timely intervention from the Music Meister and a reunion with Supergirl, Barry was finally able to learn his lesson and by hour's end, was also able to make right with Iris by giving her a proper proposal - with, of course, another song-and-dance number attached.

Next week's episode will take us back to the Savitar problem as the Scarlet Speedster battles Earth-19's Abra Kadabra, who has details on Savitar's identity, but first, he wants Barry to let him go. However, before Barry can make a call one way or another, Gypsy returns with her own agenda and her interference allows the villain to escape. Elsewhere, Julian and Caitlin continue to be at odds after her recent deception.

Check out the new extended promo for next week's installment, titled "Abra Kadabra," below:

"Abra Kadabra" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DC COMICS' CHARACTER ABRA KADABRA VISITS CENTRAL CITY - The Flash (Grant Gustin) battles Abra Kadabra (guest star David Dastmalchian), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer - release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar's true identity. Desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton), Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but Gypsy refuses to back down, forcing Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian (Tom Felton) is still a bit cold towards Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side. Nina Lopez-Corrado directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Brooke Roberts & David Kob (#318). Original airdate 3/28/2017.

Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom's game and uncovers the evil speedster's true goal: to destroy all the earths in the multiverse. In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

The Flash features:

If Savitar isn't Julian, Eddie Thawne, or future Barry, then his identity reveal will truly surprise me.

@KWilly - I think it might be Accelerated Man, they never revealed either Savitar's or Accelerated Man's real names in the comics, and I think Savitar was a pilot before he became Savitar, and Accelerated Man's costume makes him look like a pilot

@KWilly - There is the slight possibility that it may be Julian given that he is basically Albert Desmond (just being addressed with a different name) who in the comics was Dr. Alchemy and dice he was loyal to Savitar here as the Alchemy persona it's always possible the mind control never truly wore off.

Plus I find his absence during Grodd's attack which was before Savitar returned and during last night's episode a little weird.

But there is also the chance that Savitar is just Savitar and he has been messing with them with all these selective hints and "I am the future/Flash" lines.

I get the hatred towards musicals in general, but i really enjoyed the last episode! >.<
Not only it was fairly entertaining, but they've done a good job with the different storyarcs between Supergirl and Flash!
Everything was set into motion very...erm..organically, not forced at all.

Buuut it was just an exeperiment, so....

There goes the theory that HR was really Abra Cadabra.
And that's a shame too because it was such a good theory. HR carries a wand (a drumstick). He's obsessed with Wally. He can change his appearance. And he impersonated Thawne (or at least someone Thawne impersonated). Would have been a good fit, because something is definitely off with HR.

@DCeddie not at all. The episode was a waste of life. Maybe if it were actually about superhero-ing, it would've been tolerable, but NOPE. UNWATCHABLE. Barry spends the last 10 minutes of the episode creepily walking into Iris' apartment and singing something outside of the musical context, pulls a ring, and boom everyone loves each other again.

In the middle of the episode, however, Martian Manhunter, Vibe, and Kid Flash take to the streets superhero style and 30 seconds later its over. The one thing people watch these shows to see gets pushed aside for some piece of crap musical bull.

@BrettMan -

Yet the actual superhero team up worked so well.MM played so well with Vibe and Kid Flash.
Kinda brought back some good memories of the "Detroit era" Justice League. If Gypsy,Citizen
Steel and Vixen had shown up,the gang would almost all be here.

Maybe next season, during the crossover event we get a Justice League Detroit "reunion"
