THE FLASH: Come Check Out The New Extended Trailer For Season 3, Episode 19: "The Once And Future Flash"

Hot on the heels of that Arrow promo, the CW has also released a new extended trailer for the next episode of The Flash featuring a few new shots from Barry's upcoming trip to the future!

Barry's upcoming trip to the future promises to bring with it a number of shocking surprises, including the return of Mirror Master and he won't be alone as the new preview reveals that he'll be joined by his old partner Top. Plus, if you caught the Legends of Tomorrow finale, you should know there are major remifications to meeting yourself in the timestream and it's starting to look like Barry may face similar problems.

TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; BARRY TRAVELS TO THE FUTURE TO SAVE IRIS – Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar. It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues. Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie (#319). Original airdate 4/25/2017.


Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom's game and uncovers the evil speedster's true goal: to destroy all the earths in the multiverse. In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

Question?...Why does it makes sense for Savitar to be Barry? Why would Barry basically [frick] around with his present self....

I think Savitar has to be from flashpoint. Why else would he be giving people powers from that era. Either that, or it's someone who was affected by flashpoint.

For those saying that Savitar is future Barry, please explain why he would want to kill Iris in the first place. It doesn't make any sense. Savitar has to be someone affected by Flashpoint
