In next week's episode of
The Flash, Barry Allen will finally travel into the future to confront his old foe and his daughter's mentor, Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash. With any luck, the seemingly reformed villain's plan will start to become clear now, and it will be very interesting to see how the Fastest Man Alive handles learning what Nora has been up to with her grandmother's killer.
Despite fans crying out for a big bad who isn't a speedster,
The Flash has suffered greatly with The Thinker and Cicada taking on that role, so Reverse-Flash's return is coming at the best time.
There are a lot of great stills from the episode here, including some behind-the-scenes shots of Danielle Panabaker directing the action. Notable by his absence is Godspeed; that villain was spotted on set when this episode was being shot, but little to nothing has been revealed about him since.
DANIELLE PANABAKER DIRECTS — After discovering that Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) is working with Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) disagree about how to handle their daughter in the wake of this shocking news. Team Flash isn’t sure they can trust Nora, so they go through her journal to find out exactly how she came to work alongside their greatest nemesis. Danielle Panabaker directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & Kelly Wheeler (#518). Original airdate 4/16/2019.
