While the Flashpoint fallout has proven to be mostly a pain for Barry and Team Flash, there has been some good to come out of it, specifically Wally West's ascension to Kid Flash and of course, the resurrection of Wentworth Miller (Prison Break) as the fan-favorite Leonard Snart a.k.a. Captain Cold.

With only twenty-four hours or so left on the clock, Barry turns to Snart for help in stealing a priceless artifact, but they run into one giant-sized hiccup when they run into the artifact's guardian - King Shark!

Check out the new extended promo for episode twenty-two, titled "Infantino Street," below:

"Infantino Street" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS; WENTWORTH MILLER RETURNS AS CAPTAIN COLD - With only 24 hours left until Savitar murders Iris (Candice Patton), Barry (Grant Gustin) struggles to save the woman he loves and makes the choice to use any means necessary to do so. Michael Allowitz directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Grainne Godfree (#322). Original airdate 5/16/2017.

In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. Leonard Snart!!! Robber of ATMS!
Last night was okay, still dont think the writers understand time remnants, and I kind of dont.

Next episode looks interesting!

I personally hated the answer they gave us for the origins of savitar. A time remnant who survived the fight, but then gets treated bad by team flash so he pouts and he becomes savitar....really? That is such a lazy and ridiculous explanation, and considering that's all they gave us after waiting 20 episodes.

people he has had a pep talk from:

Joe, Iris from 3 earths(1,2, and flashpoint), Cisco, pretty sure Caitlin too, Harry, Wells, Jay Garrick.

The only people he hasnt gotten a talk from is wally and tracy, thats it, wtf

This looks very exciting. They sure know how to up the ante right around the 11th hour.

Flash and Caption Cold vs King Shark...bring it!

I really think too that Snart won't do it for free and maybe the condition is that they give him the same inter dimensional device that they gave Kara so that he can use it to escape the explosion from S1 Legends and make it here. That way he will survive.

"the more you travel time, the less the laws apply to you"

well, anything goes boys!

I almost thought for a second last night we were getting an ulitmate curve when
he said his name was Bart, not Barry....
but that really wouldn't make any sense canon-wise.

I agree that the time travel time remnant stuff hasn't made a whole lot of sense (& I thought the savitar origin was pretty stupid) but I think it's funny that everyone on here is so critical of the flash not following its own time travel rules when literally every single episode of legends of tomorrow has them constantly breaking their own rules. I guess I just don't understand people being so critical of the flash when legends does it so much worse & so much more often.

@MeAreLegend - I understood it jitst fine but what bothered me was the connection btw Savitar and Future Barry message to LOT
MeAreLegend

@BlackStar25 - Oh. Lemme explain: A time remnant is basically created like this. Future Barry goes back a few hours or days in time into the past; creating two versions of yourself. Im gonna call them TR (Time Remnant) and FB (Future Barry). So Savitar kills all of barrys time remnants except for TR since he wouldnt exist without him. Then Savitar gets trapped and TR is being ignored by Team Flash because he isnt THEIR Barry. So he becomes broken and runs back in time and so he becomes savitar.

Here is where it all lines up. Future Barry warns the Legends about TR (Savitar).

The time Remnant is basically just stuck in a loop. When he travelled into the past he did all the Savitar things. He killed Iris so that he can exist but then gets trapped. Then he breaks free in Episode 3x15 but in his timeline its in his past. So he kills Iris again and gets stuck. Again, and again, and again hes stuck in a loop that he cant get out of.

So from the moment he became a Time Remnant in the future, the future no longer had a flash, because their future flash became a time remnant and the only one that survived.

So in order to break that loop and to get back to his time (future) he HAS to kill Tracy or else he'll get trapped again, and everything starts again.

Last episode was a lot of fun, but the time remnants are one of the most confusing and contrived thing in the show and Savitars origins are questionable.

They really should have revealed Savitar's identity at mid season. They've kind of just been going through the motions and treading water for a lot of this season.
