Did GAME OF THRONES Season 6 Just Cast A Young SPOILER?
Following up on their Cersei-centric flashback from last season, Game Of Thrones has cast a flashback role for their upcoming sixth season. Without giving it away, the role is a younger version of a protagonist that hasn't shown up in quite a while.. Come check it out!
After their first ever flashback last season, the upcoming sixth season of HBO's Game Of Thrones also plans on incorporating at least one flashback, this time taking a look back at some of the young Starks. If you're thinking we're going to get a look at younger/infant versions of Robb, Sansa, Arya, Brandon, and/or Jon Snow (although...), think again, as it sounds like the show will dig a little deeper and explore the youth of Eddard Stark, better known as Ned Stark, who was portayed by Sean Bean in the first season of the hit fantasy series before meeting an untimely demise.
According to Watchers On The Wall, HBO has cast 13-year-old English actor Sebastian Croft, best known for his work in the theatre, as a young Ned Stark. HBO has yet to confirm the casting, but considering the potential spoiler-y nature of the role, officially confirmation probably won't come until the season 6 premiere. Looking back at the casting breakdown that leaked in late May, Croft fits the bill of one of the three young boys that were looking to be cast. If Ned was the 12-year-old, then the other two boys that still need to be cast are likely Benjen Stark and/or Robert Baratheon.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.
It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'
An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.
Game of Thrones returns Spring 2016
