HBO has released synopses for the fourth and fifth episodes of Game of Thrones season six teasing some interesting developments as the show further deviates from the source material. Next week's installment may feature a rescue mission for Daenerys as Jorah & Daario undertake a difficult task and there looks to be some activity back in King's Landing as well. The following week, Tyrion makes a new friend, Brienne embarks on a mission, which may take her to the Riverlands, and Bran learns something huge. We've caught a glimpse of what looks to be the Tower of Joy sequence in the preview for tomorrow night's episode, but could the mystery be stretched to episode 5? Maybe, maybe not, but back during the filming of season six, episodes 5 & 6 were the ones rumored to feature the truth behind the Tower Of Joy, so this would certainly fall in the line with that report. Check out the episode descriptions below:

Episode #54 (season 6, episode 4): “Book of the Stranger” - Debut: SUNDAY, MAY 15

Tyrion strikes a deal. Jorah and Daario undertake a difficult task. Jaime and Cersei try to improve their situation.

Episode #55 (season 6, episode 5): “The Door” - Debut: SUNDAY, MAY 22

Tyrion seeks a strange ally. Bran learns a great deal. Brienne goes on a mission. Arya is given a chance to prove herself.

There's no mention of Jon Snow or the situation at the Wall, but early promotional stills have already shown us we'll definitely be seeing more of both. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Kit Harington shared a few details on Snow's mindset following his resurrection and how his death shapes him moving forward: "At first, I was worried that he’ll wake up and he’s the same, back to normal — then there’s no point in that death. He needs to change. There’s a brilliant line when Melisandre asks: ‘What did you see?’ And he says: ‘Nothing, there was nothing at all.’ That cuts right to our deepest fear, that there’s nothing after death. And that’s the most important line in the whole season for me. Jon’s never been afraid of death, and that’s made him a strong and honorable person. He realizes something about his life now: He has to live it, because that’s all there is. He’s been over the line and there’s nothing there. And that changes him. It literally puts the fear of god into him. He’s seen oblivion and that’s got to change somebody in the most fundamental way there is. He doesn’t want to die ever again. But if he does, he doesn’t want to be brought back."

Episode #53 (season 6, episode 3): “Oathbreaker”

Debut: SUNDAY, MAY 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets her future. Bran meets the past. Tommen confronts the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Arya (Maisie Williams) trains to be No One. Varys (Conleth Hill) finds an answer. Ramsay gets a gift.

Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Dan Sackheim.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Figured Jon Snow would be different after being resurrected. But I imagined he would be a little f*cked up in the head like the people that returned from the dead in "Pet Sematary."

@Clark4President - I'm sure they'll show ToJ but stop short of the reveal. They filmed ToJ scenes for episode 5 or 6. Lines up with the synopsis of "Bran learning a great deal"

And, it'll be a good way to build up the tension and anticipation of what happens in the room with Lyanna for fans who are or aren't aware of the most well-known theory surrounding Game of Thrones

@BatmanHeisenberg - Snow does have a beef with him because of ramsays treatment of his sister. However i dont think he has wind of that, last season he was focused on stopping the white walkers and uniting the wildings.

@BatmanHeisenberg - I can't picture a world in which Ramsay doesn't die a rather quick and boring death.
Olly and Thorne got hanged so that's as much justice we can hope for.

I think tomorrow's episode will be a plot building one, taking off from the foundation established in the first two episodes.
