It's easy to take for granted all of the hard work behind the scenes that gets put into making the world of HBO's Game Of Thrones come to life. While you'd hope most people are aware the Dragons aren't real, a lot of the show's Emmy-nominated VFX team's other work often goes unnoticed. Thankfully, Rodeo FX have put together a fantastic little video spotlighting a selection of their best shots - all set to the sound of Ramin Djawadi's phenomenal score.

Impressed? You should be! You can relive some of these glorious shots with Season 5's release on Blu-ray & DVD on March 15, 2016 - or on digital download right now via HBO. What has been the show's VFX team's most impressive visual feat so far? Sound off with your thoughts below!

I anticipate the day when television VFX can consistently be on par with movies. That will be the true golden age for us comicbook fans. That said, I am satisfied with what we have now.

Season 5 was one of the more provoking seasons, still great nonetheless. Hardhome was exhilarating. Already planning my next run through before season 6 begins.

Great stuff. I sure would love Ramin Djawadi to score Ragnarok. Him or Howard Shore.

@JediPhilosopher to me what you just said is a beautiful woman wants to sleep with you no strings attached but you made a point to not pay attention. Why deny yourself?

Awesome, can't believe what they do now-a-days, can't wait for next season, almost wished it was on Netflix so I could binge the mutha[frick]er!

@batz11

Just cancel Netflix for a month and get HBO instead. Then you can binge GoT and Veep, Silicon Valley, The Leftovers or True Detective. And if you haven't seen any/all of them The Wire, Deadwood, Sopranos too.

Oh, I have HBO and Showtime and Cinemax and Starz too haha
But just saying, love to binge GoT over a weekend or something. Just did Mr. Robot and Narcos (Netflix) and they're both great shows!

The show I'd recommend, if you like GoT'ey type stuff, check out ROME on HBO (if you haven't) one of, if not, my fav all time series...cast was awesome too...

@batz11

Wait you have HBO and you haven't seen The Wire or Deadwood?!?!?!

Put them at the top of your NEED to watch list IMMEDIATELY!!!

When I finally watched them yrs ago, I couldn't believe I waited so long, I felt like I was missing out. Personally, I rank The Wire above Sopranos, Deadwood is close, but it's a little slower and I've only watched it thru once. I need to watch it again, especially if the rumors of a Deadwood movie are true.
