Next week, as Agent Laurie Blake (Jean Smart) gets closer and closer to uncovering the truth about the big coverup, Angela (Regina King) will seek out Looking Glass (Tim Blake Nelson) for help in keeping the big Judd Crawford secret under wraps.

Additionally, while fans had correctly assumed for quite some time that Jeremy Irons was playing Adrian Veidt, tonight's episode finally confirmed his identity and now, it's time to learn what he's really been up to all these years and what he's planning next.

@Nerdman3000 - Probably no chance of seeing Doctor Manhattan, but wonder if Night Owl and Silk Specter will show up

@dracula - Silk Spectre is literally in this episode. The character of Laurie Blake is the same Silk Spectre from the comic, she just took her father Edward Blake ‘The Comedian’s’ last name.

@Nerdman3000 - Havent watched the show yet, a lot of DC shows on right now, waiting for some of them to finish the season so I can see the response to it and then binge it if I like what I hear, doing that with Pennyworth as well, hopefully that is added to DC Universe

@Nerdman3000 - Best part of that episode.

Second best part was Jean Smart Laurie Black talking to Dr. Manhattan.

@Nerdman3000 - Never understood why Zack Snyder changed the costume for the film adaptation. He took a pretty cool looking costume that was a little goofy, and turned it into some terrible and totally goofy muted bullshit.

@dracula - Dr Manhattan is in one of the trailers, though it could be misdirection. But his presence is definitely felt in the show even in the first few episodes.

@WilliamCipher - this is true - it was like a 2 second shot of a monitor with him disintegrating something on Mars... but we did get a shot of him from very far away.

Ive heard that people are hating on it for having a black female lead, that true or are SJWs just generalizing again, cause that happens a lot. Another reason people could be hating on it is the fact that it is called Watchmen and from what I can tell doesn't have that much to do with the actual story, you know other comic book shows have decades of material, Watchmen is just a miniseries, I guess a prequel, but who remembers those and the current doomsday clock event. Point is if you call it just Watchmen, people are going to expect a new adaption of the book. Thats what I originally expected. Need to check the series out for myself

This episode was way better than the other two. Still this show is taking forever to go somewhere. And I understand why so many people call it boring.

This show was greatly helped by Jean Smart's Laurie Blake. As someone who read the graphic novel, you can see the toll the events has taken on her. What a great actress.

She's given ths show what it desperately needed. Another strong personality. I really hope a major conflict happens between her and Sister Night.

@Comicbookart - the series has always been a slow burn murder mystery though, that’s an oversimplification but even the original book’s direction wasn’t really clear until the last book when all the threads were wrapped up

Obviously we got Laurie... which given Her dad, Jon & Daniel; it would seem like this is a decent arc for the character to make post OG source... running around as Spectre would be a stretch. we got a much more concrete Dr Manhattan confirmation, more than just a nudge 🚙;-)...more than we have got to date anyways, also a confirmation on Nite Owl’s status with a tease he may return.

This def seemed like the most tied-to-series episode yet, be it a bit slow. Lots of chit-chat.

@djjoshuacarl - Was that DM at the end? And at the end of the last episode with the car? I couldn't tell.
