Production on HBO's upcoming Watchmen TV series officially kicked-off last month, with showrunner Damon Lindelof unveiling a first-look image of a mysterious masked police officer.

Now, the show's Instagram page has debuted a couple of similar motion photos, but these feature a whole squad and give us a much better look at their uniforms.

The images don't really tell us anything new about the closely-guarded plot, but if you look closely at the second pic, the patches on the cops' arms say "Tulsa Police," which suggests that the series will be at least partially set in Oklahoma.

This re-imagining of Watchmen remains shrouded in mystery for the most part, but we do know that it won't be a direct adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' iconic source material.

Watchmen stars Regina King (American Crime), Jeremy Irons (Justice League), Don Johnson (Django Unchained), Tim Blake Nelson (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman). The show is expected to premiere sometime next year.

I mean hbo has produced so many good shows. With the wire and sapranos being my two favorite shows of all time. But what is going on with this show.

How do you reimagine something that is perfect to begin with. How intellectually bankrupt do you have to be to embark on this travesty.

How do you ascertain something is intellectually bankrupt from a few blurry gifs?

Don't sleep on this, guys. Just be open to a different take on the Watchmen "era" so to speak.

HBO has quality programming. This will be good.
