AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS Starts Filming Next Week; Directors & Supporting Cast Revealed

With production about to start on Marvel Studios' upcoming WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos, a new report has shed some more light on the director list and additional supporting cast!

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Marvel Studios is set to start rolling cameras on Agatha: Coven of Chaos next week and have uncovered the list of directors that will help tell the next story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

Head writer and executive producer Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision; Black Widow) will helm multiple episodes of the nine-episode series, with Gandja Monteiro (Wednesday; The Chi) and Rachel Goldberg (Cloak & Dagger; Mayans M.C.) rounding out the directing team.  

2x Primetime Emmy-nominee Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision; Glass Onion) will headline the series as Agatha Harkness, who last we saw her had been defeated by the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and been trapped in Westview, cursed to remain in her "Agnes" persona. 

The supporting cast will feature several familiar faces from WandaVision, including Emma Caulfield Ford (Sarah Proctor), Debra Jo Rupp (Sharon Davis), David Payton (John Collins), David Lengel (Harold Proctor), Asif Ali (Abilash Tandon), Amos Glick (Dennis), Brian Brightman (Sheriff Miller), and Kate Forbes (Evanora Harkness). 

New additions include Aubrey Plaza (Parks & Recreation; Legion), Joe Locke (Heartstopper), Patti LuPone (American Horror Story; The School for Good and Evil), Sasheer Zamata (Home Economics; Saturday Night Live), Ali Ahn (Little Demon; Raising Dion), Miles Gutierrez-Riley (The Moon & Back; The Wilds), Okwui Okpokwasili (I Am Legend; The Interpreter), and Maria Dizzia (Martha Marcy May Marlene; The Good Nurse).

And btw, this show hasn't even started filming yet. Anyone forming an opinion about it already doesn't even know what they're complaining about. Goes to show just how miserable the complainer committee here is.

And no, not everyone here is in agreement that this is a dumb idea. There are plenty of people here that understand the supernatural implications of this show and how this character is tied to groups like the Midnight Sons.

2) it wasn't just one person. It was almost an entire reddit page, who either liked being cat called, didn't mind it, respectfully disagreed (which still means it's not objectively bad), or specifically didn't like cat calling when it's specifically used to harass. And it's more than you provided as to why it's objectively bad.

4) if it's filming and no one should be forming an opinion on it, why are you so mad? If I can't find it a stupid idea because we haven't seen footage, you can't look forward to it without seeing footage.

5) I didn't say everyone was. I said, "everyone here is BASICALLY in agreement". Key word, basically. I'm more or less saying that's the concensus here.

6) oh, so youve seen the footage that shows its tying into midnight sons? Oh wait, this is more of you and your double standards on what people are allowed to think of a show before we see footage. At least me and the ones not looking forward to it are judging it on its premise and not speculation.
