Adrianne Palicki To Play 'Bobbi Morse'/'Mockingbird' In AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
She famously starred as Wonder Woman in NBC's failed pilot and played Jaye in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, but Adrianne Palicki is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! Read on for details.
Self proclaimed comic book fan Adrianne Palicki has joined the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Bobbi Morse. The character was confirmed as being part of the second season of the ABC series during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and she will appear in the fifth episode with "the potential to return" according to The Hollywood Reporter. The site goes on to mention that, "the episode will find her popping in perhaps not as an ally to Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team." This isn't Palicki's first comic book role of course as she played Wonder Woman in NBC's David E. Kelley pilot. With any luck, this appearance WILL lead to a return as Mockingbird, although it could be that the show is introducing the character here with an eye to further develop her in a future Marvel Studios movie.
