I'm kinda pissed. Although it was a damn there great episode, we really didn't find out exactly what happened to Coulston like promised. All we know is that he was experimented on by what I assume aliens. I don't know, he might be a skrull with Coulstons brain, only thing I can think of. This definitely left more questions than answers IMO.

That explanation to Coulson's death was underwhelming.

Whoever expected them to completely reveal what happened to Coulson are not smart.

We are only now halfway through the season. Be patient.

"Fury moved heaven and earth..."

^That quote basically confirms aliens are in on it too.

ith ought it was a pretty good episode, some interesting things were discovered, welearn some of coulsons backstory of how his father died in front of him ,his mother passed away, the clairvoyant has access to the paralyzing device seen in iron man 1, i thought the coulson explanantion was interesting and creepy, especially the scene in which they show his brain being operated on, poor mike, he just cant catch a break!!!,the explanantion was gonna be underwhelming because of all the buildup, hell a fair amount of epople thought that sherlocks explanntion was underwhelming aswell, but it definitely has some dark implications for colson and shows alittle bit more into the shadiness of shield and corruptness of shield and that will seem to come to fruition in Winter Soldier

Yeah, it was a good episode. I have only one problem: THEY EXPLAINED NOTHING! WHAT HAPPENED TO COULSON? WHO IS THE CLAIRVOYANT? WHAT IS SKYE'S TRUE ORIGIN? WHY DO THEY NEED COULSON ALIVE? WHAT'S GOING ON?? WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS??!?? AHH! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I, uh...I think I lost my mind there for a second.

Haven't seen the episode yet.

BUT,I've read the East Coast Twiiter reactions.

And the end tag for the episode-no spoilers- may signal the beginning of what everyone's been begging for from this show...

Definitely the best episode yet. Finally felt like a show with a consistent tone. Hopefully they stick with the spy espionage intrigue vibe.

Think about it, when Coulston was still on the machine, remember the small flashes/glimpses of a blue star and space?

@Samurai

It definitely wasn't a full explanation. But it's a very good start, and very intriguing. What we need to know next is what kind of procedures they used, and how, after days of death, were they able to bring him back.

Here are things we know.

1. Coulston died. He din't hold his breath or anything. He died. For DAYS.

2. Fury orchestrated the whole thing. He was behind it all.

3. Fury, as said by the doctor, "moved Heaven and Earth" to keep him alive.

4. The doctors and that weird machine basically reprogrammed his brain to stop him from becoming something else entirely.

Missing something?

What exactly was wrong with tonight's episode? The acting was great, the action was spot on, the humor was timely, there was real drama, suspense, and a real edge of your seat scene with that mind analyzing machine.

OldGreg: wasn't that what they were called when they were collected from Simon Williams (a.k.a. Wonder Man) and put into Vision in the comics?

Maybe I'm wrong.
