Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Marvel’s first television series, is from executive producers Joss Whedon (Marvel's The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who co-wrote the pilot (Dollhouse, Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) and Jeph Loeb (Smallville, Lost, Heroes) also serve as executive producers. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

In the second promo when he looked in the mirror, I could've sworn there was metal showing through a cut on his forehead.

It's not bad actually.

I do wish the guy didn't look so chewed up in the face but it is a bit of what Deathlok should look like.

He's got that eye-controller thing... Either they remove and the operation goes wrong, or maybe it explodes and blows off half his face... that'll be the way they get the half metal mask on him...
thatiscrazy
thatiscrazy - 3/19/2014, 8:38 AM
yeah, it probably blows up when he resists. Then he doesn't die because he cant. then the metal plate comes into play.

@mutton

Never thought of that. Definitely could see him disobey an order and Centipede blow the eye. Extremis would save his life, but yeah, he would need the mask.

some new hints from Twitter. This form will evolve through the episode, like a deadly, fuc**ing pokemon. I like that!

I, and many others, have been saying that this is a transitional period for Deathlok but there are some who have the attention span of a two year old and the patience to match. The character will continue to develope and change. I don't think that we will get the full Deathlok character from the comics because it wouldn't work in a world where cell phone with cameras are everywhere. There would be pictures and viral videos of that guy all over the world.

I watched the documentary and I too saw the Clairvoyant and I am not sure that it is MODOK although that was my guess when the clairvoyant was brought to light. I saw the centipede project being a part of AIM and with AIM comes MODOK but some people have been making a good case for the Leader. I must say that the Clairvoyant character in the documentary did not sound like Tim Blake Nelson, so maybe the Leader is out. MODOK would be a great way to go but can they pull of his appearance in a realistic way?

Agents of SHIELD is a very good show, one that I have loved from the very first frame. Full Speed Ahead, Mo and Jed

For those who are concerned about this version of Deathlok not having a faceplate, here was a tweet from J. August Richards:

This looks nothing at all like Deathlok. I know costumes in tv/movies aren't always 100% correct, but c'mon, this is to Deathlok what Sam Raimi's Green Goblin was to comic Green Goblin.
