We have our first official casting announcement for Marvel and ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.D. spin-off, which is currently being dubbed Marvel's Most Wanted. Delroy Lindo (Ransom, Blood & Oil, The Chicago Code, Kidnapped, Malcolm X, Get Shorty) will join the previously announced Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as none other than Dominic Fortune - the Marvel Comics fortune hunter created back in 1975 by Howard Chaykin, who went on to feature in the 2010 miniseries, Hawkeye And Mockingbird.

No details on how the character will be integrated into the story, but it's a safe bet he'll be an ally to our loved-up heroes. Marvel’s Most Wanted was created and written by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. EP Jeffrey Bell and writer Paul Zbyszewski, with Jeph Loeb also on board as executive-producer. No premiere date has been set just yet.

I'm still feeling mixed about this show. But I do hope that they handle it with the best intentions. I'm running out of room on my collection rack.

Btw, the actor above is also set to play Marcus Garvey in an upcoming biopic.

As much as I lie AOS and Marvel I might pass this up till someone with a decent opinion says its worth it.

BTW, No ones making an article about the dude who was making his own fan film web series called "X-men Danger Room Protocals" and Marvel/Disney threatened with a lawsuit making him cancel it?? No? Well I think it would make for a good article! First time in a while I've actually said Disney/Marvel are being A-holes.

@slickrickdesigns it's business man, you can't use someone else's intellectual property without expressed written consent, of course they took action. Not that shocking or surprising.

@KillEmAll - You know how many fan films and how many unlicensed copy righted properties by Marvel are out there? Well its A LOT... Just don't see why Marvel/Disney can't treat it like all the other stuff out there that is made with out expressed written consent. The dude wanted to create an Xmen series he thought people would like and they probably would like it, but Marvel/Disney felt the need to squash him before he could even begin his series. Just seems petty to me. I say it can't be worse than what Fox does with the Xmen and Marvel isn't doing anything great in the cartoon realm with Xmen either, so this is where I say F*ck that, I hope more people make fan films and don't deter away from being creative with Characters they hold dear more than these companies do.

"Thanks for being a loyal fan by spending time and money on reading and learning about these characters but F you for trying to be creative and bringing unwanted exposer to our comics for free."
