Last episode dropped a major revelation about Hydra. My wife and I looked at each other with looks of "Whoa..."

I'm sure Marvel TV had to make some calls up to the top to get permission to take on such an important aspect of Hydra's back story.

weird that Fitz is more motivated to bring back Will than Jemma. Also it seems like the Shield agents have already learned Hyrdra's real purpose.

I mean, they clearly like each other quite a bit, she seems overall pretty great and Phil is definitely the second-most attractive character on TV in the "50+ and missing one hand" category!

You could be right about Giyera, didn't think about the telekinesis. And yeah, those three were pretty good villains. Mind control is really a damn dirty trick.

While watching Ash vs Evil Dead I thought that Bruce Campbell could've been an excellent Purple Man in his own way. I'd definitely be down for him coming to AOS in some other role!

What I love about Agents of SHIELD this season is that it has kept a regular schedule for the first time. Those first two seasons were so irregularly released that many viewers didn't have the patience to keep up.

I'm hoping we get more backstory on the SHIELD/HYDRA ancient history. I'm guessing we will soon find out that they were once the same secret organization... The Zodiac... or some such.
I don't know who the lost Supreme Leader is though. Can't be Apocalypse. Probably isn't Red Skull or Imhotep. I get the feeling it's a really old von Strucker.

Biggest difference I guess would be that Lorelei's powers were shown to only work on men. And of course that she's an Asgardian and could probably break you in half if you managed to resist her. ^^'

This isn't mind control as it is bodily manipulation. When someone is mind control they don't know what they are doing but he seems to know that he is not in control.
