It looked like Agent's of SHIELD star Chloe Bennet had last week confirmed that the blue alien was a Kree, but not anymore. The actress who plays Skye on the show took to Twitter to say this:

Since the episode aired it was obvious it was a Kree. I feel bad for whoever can't figure that out by now. Even before the markings on the chest were pointed out it was obvious.
