It's had some painful episodes, but it's slowly increasing.

All the money, sponsors, cinemtographers for this show and not a good writer in sight.

The show would have been great if it was Coulson's crew from the movies. This was basically Coulson and friends with some young adult romance and sub par acting. I found the first few episodes very painful to watch and I watch everything Marvel. I love Marvel but this was a fail on their part for sure. The show has some high points but overall is missing the mark.

Marvel needs to step up their TV game for sure.

According to @RogerWardell2's recent tweets, the "Freaks of The Weeks" are going to be needed in AoU

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this is painful to watch. Come on no one was asking for a Shield show unless it was with Sam Jackson. Coulson is a supporting character, not a lead. I'm really not interested in Coulson and friends.

I love how Josh talks sh*t about this series but frequently posts articles to make money out of it.

Personally I think the series has been getting better and better lately. The last three episodes in particular have been great.

Am I right? Cybertek is a division of Roxxon and was responsible for the Deathlok program??
MercwithMouth
MercwithMouth - 2/4/2014, 10:40 AM
And Roxxon is owned by Aleksander Lukin. How's that for a Captain America tie-in?

Omg... this is comically bad. Coulson and Simmons using spy jargon out loud and showing a pic of their "target" in a crowded car... (not to mention the ear touching com affectations)

why didnt they just have Coulson and some minor heros. I mean i know this is in the marvel movie universe but they could of added hawkeye to the line up and then maybe introduce wasp before the ant man film and maybe punisher just for the fun of it

@InfiniteMonkey I did stop watching. Right after they found that artifact in that South American country I think. No interest in this show anymore.

started watching it with the hopes it would somehow protract the experience you get through the movies, i didnt know how they were going to do it with the obvious limitations of tv but assumed they MUST know what they are doing because they have been spot on with the movies and wouldnt want to risk tarnishing their goldmine.

Im still vaguely interested in what happened to coulson, but literally skim through the rest of the episode as its all filleer and shoe horned " snappy" dialogue.

I dont know if whedon writes or spearheads agents of shield but his "bunch of misfits" formula doesnt apply to what should be the premier spy agency on the planet?

Hope it improves and stops cheapening everything thats good about the MCU

I can't wait to see Graviton, Blizzard, and Deathlok as proper rogues later on. Also the Sif episode with Lorelei should be good.

I'm still holding on but I just don't know how much longer I can wait for this show to get better. Lmao at the "Coulson and Friends" comment above

I love the people who say that there is no character development when they havntw at he'd past episode 2. I jus recently watched the pilot and if to compare the characters from how they were in the Pilot to now you'll see a major difference. On a side note it just seems like people are moving through a list of complaints and not acknowledging the changes. Some people have genuine complaints but others seem like there trolling. For example "where are all the marvel charters!?" Deathlok, Sif and Lorelei confirmed. "The fight sequences are bad" this episodes improves fight sequences (see the clip released a week ago). You can hate the show but at least they are listening and fixing the problem, in season 1 no less.

Can I get some answers on Cybertek? They are responsible for the Deathlok program right? And Cybertek is a division of Roxxon, right? Which is owned by Aleksander Lukin, right?

@ ALmight

Yeah, it's pretty sad.

This show blows, I've watched every episode. The only semi cool one was the graviton one. Apparently, if you want to get into SHIELD, you have to be a huge cheese ball, regardless of your gender. Coulson is the only dope character but even he is losing his charm.

Every episode I think has had something worth watching for (*SPOILER WARNING*):

Ep 1 - Centipede and Mike Peterson origin, Maria Hill appearance
Ep 2 - HYDRA technology, Nick Fury cameo
Ep 3 - Graviton origin
Ep 4 - X-ray backscatter technology (Deathlok foreshadowing)
Ep 5 - Scorch character, 'Clairvoyant' first mentioned
Ep 6 - Chitauri virus, Agent Blake appearance
Ep 7 - Victoria Hand, Agent Sitwell, Skye mystery
Ep 8 - Asgardian mythology, Coulson death mystery
Ep 9 - Supernatural stuff (teasing Dr Strange?)
Ep 10 - Extremis soldiers, Mike Peterson returns, 'Clairvoyant' mentioned again, Coulson kidnapped
Ep 11 - Coulson death mystery (partly) explained, Victoria Hand returns, Mike Peterson revealed to be alive (Deathlok origin)
Ep 12 - Blizzard origin, Skye birth mystery deepens, 'Clairvoyant' mentioned again
