The first episode of Marvel and Netflix's The Defenders just screened at SDCC, and the initial reactions have been very positive so far. To give fans some idea of what they're in for next month, a full trailer for the show was also released, which you can check out below.

The footage promises an exciting mix of action and humor, as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist reluctantly team up to put an end to the schemes of Sigourney Weaver's enigmatic villain, who appears to have the newly resurrected Elektra under her control.

@Menks123 - Daredevil and Jessica Jones were the two best shows out of the four. So it is only fitting both characters get the best banter.

@SonOfAGif - For sure. I liked Luke Cage and IF, but they were definitely a peg down from the other two. Daredevil, to me, is on another level so far.

@Cbm2129 - Strangely the same. Only scenes that did anything for me here were Jessica being a drunk and ridiculing everyone, because it's been far too long since she graced our screens.

Was kind of hoping Frank would pop up in Jessica Jones season 2 since he and Nuke share dubious military operative backgrounds.

@CapnSquintyEyes - Always excited to see Daredevil, I liked JJ and her character, Luke Cage was a letdown but I like his character, and Iron Fist was just bad all around. I'm just tired of the hand and sigourney weaver as a villain in this doesn't do anything for me.

@noahthegrand - I noticed Bakudo fighting Colleen again. I really hope they don't overdo it with the side characters this time around. I felt like Luke Cage focused way more on the supporting cast rather than the actual hero.

And I also felt Colleen had a way better story arc and actual character development over Danny. And that should never be the case in the first season of a show. The title character needs the most development.

That trailer was amazing. It looks like they have the Defenders dynamic of being a team of misfits who dont work well with others. Im really looking forward to this.
