We knew Echo was scheduled to begin shooting soon, and star Alaqua Cox has now revealed that cameras are set to start rolling tomorrow!

The actress shared a photo to her Instagram stories, giving her followers a look at a message from Reservation Dogs star Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs wishing her luck ahead of filming. Jacobs hasn't been announced as part of the cast, but her note could be taken to mean she'll be joining Cox on set at a later date.

The FX on Hulu show's director Sydney Freeland is expected to helm at least one episode of Echo, so there's a decent chance she enlisted Jacobs for a supporting part. The cast will also feature Graham Greene (Wind River, Dances With Wolves) in an undisclosed role

Cox debuted as Maya Lopez, aka Echo, in Hawkeye, and is set to return to lead her own series. When we last saw the conflicted antihero she was putting a bullet in The Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) after coming to the realization that he was the one responsible for her father's death. Wilson Fisk almost certainly survived, however, and will likely return as the main antagonist of Echo.

There's a chance we'll get an official announcement (and maybe even a BTS photo) once production kicks-off, so be sure to keep an eye on CBM tomorrow.

Show has the potential to be really dope if done right. And that’s not even considering the inclusions of Matt and Fisk.

Super excited to keep going down the street crime/fighting part of the MCU and Cox really was great in the bit we saw in Hawkeye to me.

Also, if Christmas Island by Depeche Mode is not used again then I will be so angry.

@Pathogen - I liked it as long I keep telling my self it’s for hard movie with more comedy less violence with marvel characters

@bobevanz - exactly. These marvel shows aren’t doing it for me. Haven’t even watched moon knight yet. I’ll get around to it but they are already not mandatory viewing for me.

She was great and it would be exciting to see what comes next with her. Especially seeing more Matt and Fisk again.

All these Marvel shows seemed rushed and thrown together at the last sec.

I love Marvel superheroes and have since I was a child many years ago. I don't see anything remotely interesting about this show at all.
