You'd think Marvel would have wanted to keep a lid on this until the episode aired, but with just hours to go before the season finale of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier hits Disney+, we have our first official look at Sam Wilson suited-up as the new Captain America!
A new TV spot for the show has found its way online, and while most of the footage is from earlier episodes, the final shot gives us a brief glimpse of Sam taking flight in the new costume Bucky (Sebastian Stan) procured for him from the Wakandans towards the end of last Friday's penultimate chapter.
We have seen some promo art of the suit before, but this is our first time witnessing the MCU's new Cap (sorry, Walker) in live-action.
There's should still be a few surprises in store for fans, however, as the board is set for a showdown with Wyatt Russell's now Madame Hydra-backed John Walker (US Agent?) and the Flag Smashers. There's also the seemingly villainous Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) to consider, and have we really seen the last of Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl) now that he's been confined to The Raft?
Will Sam fully embrace the mantle of Captain America after his devastating conversation with Isaiah Bradley? We'll have to tune in tomorrow to find out!
